Payment & cancellation terms

Registration fees. Registration is confirmed when payment is received. Complimentary categories (SPCI members, cardiology fellows, faculty, and exhibitors) are confirmed on submission. Registration fees cover the scientific program and the meals and functions listed for your category. Travel and lodging are not included.

Hotel. Guest rooms at La Concha Resort are booked separately by each attendee through the meeting room block. The room block is limited and is released after the cutoff date published on the meeting page.

Participant cancellation. Requests to cancel must be submitted in writing by email to support@hamedu.org. The effective date of cancellation is the date the written notice is received.

  • On or before October 13, 2026: full refund less a $50 administrative fee.
  • October 14 through October 30, 2026: 50% refund.
  • After October 30, 2026: no refunds, because catering guarantees, materials, and space commitments are non-recoverable by that point.
  • No-shows: participants who do not attend without prior written cancellation are not eligible for a refund.

Substitutions. A registration may be transferred to another individual from the same institution at no charge with written notice by November 5, 2026. The substitute must complete their own registration so we can collect the information required for CME credit.

Credit claiming. CME credit is claimed after the meeting by completing the online activity evaluation. Credit is awarded based on documented attendance, and the claim window closes 30 days after the meeting ends.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Healthcare Alliance for Medical Education (HAME) and the Sociedad Puertorriqueña de Cardiología Intervencional. HAME is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Healthcare Alliance for Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
