Joint Providership

Accredited CME, without building the infrastructure.

You bring your audience, specialty expertise, and educational priorities. We help design and deliver accredited CME that meets your goals and gives your learners a clear path to claim credit. ACCME-accredited, bilingual, and built for organizations that value quality education.

The basics

What is joint providership?

It’s the way many medical societies, foundations, and healthcare organizations offer accredited CME without becoming accredited providers themselves.

You partner with an ACCME-accredited provider like HAME to support the accreditation and compliance requirements, including educational design, faculty disclosures, conflict resolution, certificates, and reporting. Eligible learners can earn   AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ while your organization stays focused on the medicine, the audience, and the mission.

The short version You don’t need to become ACCME-accredited yourself to offer accredited CME. You need an accredited provider who can guide the educational design and compliance process with the rigor your audience deserves. That’s the gap HAME helps fill.
Why HAME

There are other ACCME providers. Here's what's different about working with us.

01

Bilingual by design

HAME supports activities, evaluations, certificates, and faculty communication in both English and Spanish, helping organizations serve diverse clinician audiences across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Latin America.

02

Easy for partners. Easy for learners.

Disclosures are signed online in minutes. Clinicians can register, attend, and claim CME credit from their phones or computers. Certificates are issued automatically, reducing paperwork, email chains, and long waits. And when something needs a human touch, we’re on it.

03

Formats that actually engage

Our Escape Room CME format turned a credit-hour session into the most talked-about part of a national conference. A medical school asked to bring it into their curriculum. Available to joint providership partners.

04

Project management discipline

HAME runs on PMP-trained project management. You get clear timelines, owned deliverables, named decision points, and predictable execution from kickoff through closeout.

05

Personal, not transactional

When you work with HAME, you work directly with leadership from strategy through execution. We intentionally keep our partner relationships focused, so every activity receives the attention, responsiveness, and care it deserves.

06

Track record across specialties

HAME supports medical education in areas including infectious disease, interventional cardiology, and primary care. Our experience spans diverse audiences and formats while keeping each activity scientifically sound, well-organized, and personal.

Common questions

Things people ask before they call.

Who is joint providership for?
Medical societies, professional associations, foundations, hospitals, healthcare systems, and similar organizations that want to offer accredited CME but don't hold their own ACCME accreditation. Per ACCME's Standards for Integrity and Independence, ineligible companies (organizations whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, or distributing healthcare products used on patients, including pharmaceutical and medical device companies) cannot serve as joint providership partners. Educational grants and commercial support from those companies follow a separate process.
How long does the process take?
Most engagements run 8 to 16 weeks from kickoff to activity, depending on scope. Live activities with new content take longer than enduring (on-demand) activities or activities built on existing content. Once we know your scope, we give you a clear timeline.
How much does it cost?
It depends on scope. A single live activity  is different from a multi-event partnership with enduring materials. After a discovery call, we put together a clear scope and fee so you can decide with full information.
Do you handle commercial support and pharma grants?
Yes. HAME accepts commercial support and educational grants for accredited activities, managed under ACCME's Standards for Integrity and Independence. This is separate from joint providership. Ineligible companies (pharmaceutical, medical device, and similar) cannot serve as JP partners, but they can provide grant support to activities. HAME makes all educational decisions independently, regardless of funding source.
Can activities be delivered in Spanish?
Yes. Bilingual delivery is built into our infrastructure. Activities, evaluations, and certificates can run in English, Spanish, or both.
Can we do enduring (on-demand) activities, not just live?
Yes. Our learning platform supports enduring CME with post-tests, evaluations, and automated certificates. We also support hybrid models that combine a live activity with an enduring version available afterward.
What's the minimum engagement size?
We work with single-activity engagements as well as multi-activity partnerships. A smaller-scale project is often a good way to see if we're the right long-term partner before committing to a bigger relationship.
What does the accreditation statement on our activities look like?
Each jointly provided activity carries ACCME's required accreditation statement, naming HAME as the accredited provider and your organization as the nonaccredited joint provider. The statement appears on all activity materials (brochures, slides, certificates, web pages, evaluations). HAME provides the exact required language so it's never something you have to draft.
